The Building Permits Department are responsible for permitting all construction related permits
The Building Permits Department is responsible for:
- Issuing building permits
- Reviewing building plans
- Working directly with the Planning and Zoning Commission
To obtain a permit for both residential and commercial uses, simply stop by Village Hall to pick up an application, we will be happy to provide you with the necessary forms.
A building permit application must be obtained from the Deputy Clerk and approved BEFORE any type of building project is started. This includes building additions, garages, porches, sheds, fences, in-ground pools, driveways, new construction, etc. A fine will be charged for any project started without obtaining a building permit first.
